Cedar Ridge Church, in Long Lane, saw a need in our community and showed up to meet it. A great group showed up to the Closet, ready to work, and they got more done than we can even list.

Driver education is expensive. For young people who have experienced foster care, it is often completely out of reach. MoDOT recognized that and did something about it.

Kids’ Harbor serves Laclede County and nine surrounding counties, providing coordinated support and healing for children who have experienced abuse.

Nancy Moore from H&R Block works with our Paving the Way students to walk them through the basics of filing taxes.

The Cross Christian School is built on people who show up.

Kids become adults whether anyone prepares them for it or not.

For kids coming into foster care, a dental appointment is often one of the first things that hasn’t happened in a long time.

Vintage Flower Market is where you go when you are grieving. When you can’t wait to celebrate. When your heart is so full it feels like it may burst out of your chest.

158 pillowcases. A truckload of food from Salt Lake City. Christmas morning for 42 foster families. They don’t wait to be asked twice.

Very few things outlive the person who started them.
