Bethany Shanklin has a habit of showing up where she’s needed.
She’s on the board at the Lebanon Family YMCA. She’s active in the Optimist Club. And when it came time to teach insurance basics at Paving the Way, she didn’t hesitate.
Four years at Christy Fera Agency, American Family Insurance, have taught her that insurance isn’t just about policies. It’s about helping people understand what they have and why it matters.
That’s exactly what students learned this week: what coverage means, what they’re paying for, and what can happen when they don’t have it.
Thank you to Bethany Shanklin and Christy Fera Agency for investing in these students and this community.

This community is built by the people and businesses who show up, not because they have to, but because they belong to something. These are the neighbors who make everything possible.
