Who We Serve
Live 2 Give Hope serves our community: anyone who needs help, and anyone in crisis.
Our focus is the child welfare system, including families working to prevent a crisis from becoming a removal by Children’s Division. That means:
- Foster families
- Kinship caregivers
- Guardianship families
- Adoptive families
- Families working toward reunification
- Families in crisis, before things reach that point
But our doors are open beyond that. If someone comes to us with a need we don’t directly meet, we connect them to a resource in the community that can.
Where We Serve
Our outreach and programming are focused on Missouri’s 26th Judicial Circuit: Laclede, Camden, Morgan, Miller, and Moniteau counties, based in Lebanon, MO.
We have no geographic restrictions on who we serve. Since 2017, we have served families in 41 counties across Missouri, including significant numbers in Pulaski, Greene, Phelps, Dallas, Webster, and Wright counties.
How People Find Us
Most families find us through our website, social media, the foster care community, or a friend or neighbor.
Many families come to us through a referral to the Fostering Hope Closet from a local community partner, including schools, law enforcement, healthcare providers, faith communities, and other social service agencies. If you’re a partner working with a family in crisis, we want to hear from you.
You don’t need a referral to walk in. Anyone in our community is welcome.
