Every year, Merri Hess and Angie Atkinson show up for Paving the Way. And every year, the questions start flying.
They talk with students about budgeting, credit scores, debt, saving money, and the financial decisions they’ll face as they step into adulthood. The kind of information most adults had to figure out the hard way.
Merri and Angie volunteer their time through First State Community Bank. FSCB has been serving the Ozarks since 1954. Their investment in these young people goes far beyond banking. They’re helping build confidence, independence, and a foundation for the future.
