The fish at Uncle Buck’s Lake had no idea what was coming.
On a Friday morning in June, Tracker Marine opened their dock in Lebanon to foster, kinship, guardianship, adoptive, and reunification families across our community. Catch and release, start to finish. Every fish went right back in the water. Every kid walked away with a story.
There was a gummy worm guessing game some of these kids took far too seriously. There was a line of poles along the bank and not one hurried moment. There was blue sky overhead, like it had been reserved special for the occasion.
Tracker Marine has built boats out of Lebanon for generations. On this morning, they built something else. A few hours where families who carry a lot could just fish.
