Our Paving the Way students got to see K9 unit work up close when the Camden County Sheriff’s Office joined a mock traffic stop exercise at School of the Osage. Real pull-overs, real sobriety tests, real practice, and a K9 demonstration most of these teens had never seen before.
For kids learning to drive, a traffic stop can feel like the scariest part of the road. Watching deputies walk through it step by step, including what a K9 alert actually looks like, turned that fear into understanding.
By the end, nobody was nervous anymore.
Thank you to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office for showing up for these kids.
In the Ozarks, this is what community looks like.

This community is built by the people and businesses who show up, not because they have to, but because they belong to something. These are the neighbors who make everything possible.
