Safe MO Kids

Childhood sexual abuse is an epidemic with 1 in 8 children being sexually abused before the age of 18. Live 2 Give Hope is joining the fight against childhood sexual abuse, the largest issue facing children today. Live 2 Give Hope staff are trained to lead childhood sexual abuse prevention educational trainings for both children and adults through Stop It Now! and the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. If you’re interested in receiving training for yourself, your business, organization or group, please contact us to find out about upcoming workshops or to host a workshop for your organization. If you work with children and would like to schedule training for them to help them know the signs of sexual abuse and how to respond, please contact us to discuss training options.

Live 2 Give Hope believes all children should be safe from abuse, specifically sexual abuse. It is the responsibility of every adult to know the signs of inappropriate behavior and to identify symptoms of those who have been sexually abused and available resources to get them the help they need. Education is the key to being able to prevent sexual abuse, report suspected sexual abuse, and assist victims in receiving ongoing trauma care. Live 2 Give Hope provides this education free of charge to any community member interested.

Live 2 Give Hope is partnered with H-E-A-R-T, Inc. (Hope Exists After Rape Trauma) and hosts an annual retreat for adult female sexual assault victims of childhood and/or adult sexual abuse. These Victim to Victim retreats are held in March of each year.
